PRIVATE SECTOR

Rescue Global provided comprehensive consultancy risk management and corporate resilience services for businesses.

Our skilled teams – predominantly drawn from military and emergency services – were experts at identifying, evaluating and mitigating risk, and responding to hazards; we did so in some of the world’s worst disasters.

By engaging Rescue Global, clients benefited from our international expertise and global network.

As a non profit, working with us presented an uncommon double-benefit: payments to Rescue Global were cost effective, and additionally supported our charitable work of providing disaster risk reduction and response to some of the most vulnerable and disaster-affected countries in the world.

The risk environment for companies operating today is increasingly complex, with threats from terrorism, natural hazards leading to disasters and political instability creating exposure and limiting potential.

The reality is that hazards are increasingly diverse, frequent and severe. The changing media environment and the tightening legal landscape means that the impacts of these hazards are also increasing, with potentially significant liability and brand consequences.

One aspect of how Rescue Global worked that made us highly unusual is that we worked in an integrated fashion across the full spectrum of disaster risk reduction and response. We worked to increase resilience to disasters and exceptional events both before and after these events occur, as well as providing urgent response when it’s needed.

We worked with corporations to assess, manage and mitigate their risks, with the same integrated approach we take to tackling national disasters. We worked with organisations in the private and public sectors, typically those with global operations, whether that’s overseas trading, multinational facilities or international staff travel.

At Rescue Global our skilled teams – predominantly drawn from military and emergency services – were all experts at identifying, evaluating and mitigating risk, and responding to hazards; we did so in some of the world’s worst disasters. By engaging Rescue Global, a non profit and international Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), clients benefited from our international expertise and global network. In addition, as a non profit, working with us presented an uncommon double-benefit: payments to Rescue Global were cost effective, and additionally support our charitable work of providing disaster risk reduction and response to some of the most vulnerable and disaster-affected countries in the world.

Our work has received acclaim by leaders such as the British Royal Family and the Director General of Military Staff at NATO. Further, the corporate social responsibility benefits of working with a non profit supported corporate brand values, and provided employee engagement and confidence in issues around risk and security.
